Catching up!

Well, it's been a busy week and a half since I've had a new niece!

Collin and I went to Mt Pleasant last weekend for a surprise birthday party for his Grandpa's 70th birthday! It was a lot of fun, and meant a lot to his Grandpa!

We also stayed through Sunday night because it was Zane's Sr. Sunday. They have a special service Sunday night, and then we had catered Fajitas!! Mmmmm!! And then they had a hypnotist!
It was fun. Each Sr got to take one guest with them to get hypnotized, and Zane picked Collin...wow...that was interesting! Thankfully he didn't do anything just out right embarrassing! But it was VERY funny!

Then we drove home Monday morning at 6 am, because Collin and I both worked Monday. Collin had to, I didn't have to, but since I was going to be back, I knew it would help me not have to work so much to make up that time.
Monday was a long day, and I was soooo tired!

Work has been busy this week, and yesterday at work was probably one of the worst for me. It was bad. I think it would have been bad no matter what, but I think I made it worse than it really was. Which is not good.

But today is busy, and not bad at all thankfully! There was just a lot that played into yesterdays work day I guess.

Tonight Christy (MIL) is coming to stay with us. Just for tonight though. She will be in Conway, and instead of staying at a hotel, she will stay with us that night, and then drive back the next day. I'm glad we get to see her again so soon!
When you don't get to see family real regularly it's so fun when you get to see them close together!!
I'm very exited, but I do need to clean up when I get home!! :)

OH! I got a new camera!!
I got a Rebel XTi!!
It is wonderful!! And I've been studying up all week on it, and I am soooo ready to go take pictures of my niece!! Hopefully tomorrow will be the day! I miss seeing her period, and I really can't wait to use my new found knowledge and camera to take great pics of her!

For those who don't know, I am hoping to be a photographer(nothing big time) so that when Collin and I decide to have kids, I can hopefully make a little extra a month while staying at home.
So obviously I'm into taking pictures of people, but I haven't gotten a lot of practice on people yet. I figure if I start now, by the time we decide to have kids, I'll be ready and have a nice portfolio of my photography and all!
I think it would be AWESOME to do weddings, but that seems SOOOOO far away right now! Weddings are sooo difficult! And what if you mess up?!? Yipes!
