ok, so I had the weirdest dream and some of you guys that read my blog are in it! Here we go....
The people: all the girls from the youth group that I graduated with and some of the girls a year or two younger from the youth group, and some much younger girls from church....
We all went to....a Hilary Duff concert!! hahaha, I know...random and crazy!
So somehow we ended up being able to be on the front row. On my row I was sitting next to Sara 'fultz' Clark and I can't remember who was next to her. I'm thinking Alison 'humphries' Ellis. SO, durring Hilary's first song she walks right off stage to meet us and we tell her our names into the mic...only Sara decides she wants to do the talking for us, but she is SOOO nervous that she tells her all the wrong names including saying we are a youth group from Houston...waa?!?!? So we start laughing at Sara so hard and telling her...hello..your name is sara and we are from Mesquite!! ANYWAY, some other random stuff goes on, but the next thing that was most memorable is Hilary took a short break, and while she did this actor that looked a lot like heath ledger and another actor put together comes out wearing nothing but an electric guitar. He starts singing and playing, and Sara and I were in the corner talking next to the stage, and when we look over to see what's going on we got a good clear shot off his...uhh....merchandise...lol. So we are laughing about that and then he realizes what just happened and when the song is over he put some pants on and came over to us and begged us not to tell anyone that we saw because he wouldn't be able to get anymore parts in movies that he wanted. So we laugh and say yes, and he wanted us to shake on it, so we did, but he had the WORST handshake ever!
And that is the bulk of the dream. The dream went on from there, but just more concert stuff and talking with old friends. It was definitely weird and random.
In other news, I did the kundalini(sp?) yoga thing and it was very interesting to say the least. But I woke up sore and my abs and arms. So I'm thinking it must have worked very well. I felt so very relaxed and didn't hurt at all through the exercises. And apparently my liver will be very healthy from this! lol, they mentioned a lot more organs and things that would benefit, but that seemed like the one they mentioned most.
That's it for now! Hope everyone has a great day!!

So sweet!
Thanks for all the encouraging words!! Y'all are too nice!!
Something else that is nice, I have been inbetween notches on my belt for the past week or so, and today I can proudly say I am down a notch! :) Yay! For those keeping track....I couldn't wear the belt when I started...now have gone down three notches on the belt! Yay!
There isn't too much going on this week with me. I haven't missed a night of working out in over a week, which is new and exciting! I love the trainer for my bike and I slip the Gazelle in there to work on toning my arms and legs. I also got a video from Stacey at work today. It's Kundalini Yoga, so I hope to try that tonight! It sounds very interesting from her descriptions! I'll let you know what I think!
I don't guess I ever updated on other happenings this weekend. We had a great visit with Cole and Molly from Mt Pleasant, TX. They were visiting friends in Searcy because they will be coming to school at Harding next year. We had a great time with them! I'm so thankful my bro-in-law has such great friends like them. It reminds me of what great/strong friendships I had with my youth group! The only difference is there are only three or four of them that are seniors and I had...well....there were at least 8 of us that were the same age and had very close/spiritual relationships together. Ahh memories!
ANYWAY, that is all that is going on with us. We are on call at the retirment home this week so that means we will be staying at home all week, but it'll be over before I know it!
Hope everyone else has had a good week so far! It's wednesday already so it'll be over soon! Thanks again for the sweet words on my last post!

Great night!
We had such a great time with Brandon and Joy and Amy, Ben, and Carter last night!! We had plans to go eat at charlie's pizza(awesome pizza place here in town) and we get there, and Brandon walks in, and we all follow, and then he walks out, and we're all like...wha?? (or so I think all of us are like "whaa?") Then we go out side to figure out what Brandon is up to, and he walks down the side of the resturant and opens the door to the private room they have.
It was all cute with a table just for us with a table cloth, roses, candies, and candles all set up real cute like!
We were all like...awh!
Apparently all the boys knew though. Brandon had the idea and he organzed it with the other two.
So we had a fun dinner where none of us had to cook or clean, and it felt like we were all by ourselves! AND I got some GREAT quality time with my nephew Carter! :)
So great night! I thought that was so fun the way they planned that for us, so I thought I'd share!
And I've had several people lately ask about pictures of me, so I'll try to work on that this weekend! My sister even asked to see my legs last night! haha, I think her and joy were pretty impressed! lol And remember those great jeans I got that fit so well because of MSP? Well, I had those on and they've been getting pretty lose, and Amy noticed that too. So, I'll try to find some pictures of me from right before I started losing weight at Thanksgiving. And post some of now!

Happy Valentine's!
Ok, I am not one to make a big deal out of valentine's day, so I won't, just wanted to say happy v-day to y'all! I mean, it's cute, and I am wearing red in honor of the day, but I don't think you should only do special things for your special someone on this one day a year. And I'm not saying DON'T do special things, special things are so much fun! I'm just saying, it shouldn't be ONLY a Valentine's things. You know? Just don't let this be the only day besides other holidays and birthday!
I do plan on having fun today though! We are going on a triple date with my sis and her hubby and my bro and his wife! And I assume we will have my nephew with us as well! :) Can't wait to see everyone and catch up!
And I did get a Valentine's present last night that I LOVE! I got a trainer for my bike!! I rode my bike inside for 48 minutes! I know that's a weird amount of time, but I decided to go through two TV shows on DVD, and that's how long it was :) Man, it had my heart rate up! So I was glad to have some cardio without the pain in my legs! My left leg STILL hurts sometimes when I put pressure on it certain ways. So I'm going to stick to other things like the bike and the gazelle for at least another couple of weeks. Then it will be nice to have my choice of how to work out each day!
When I put my work clothes on this momo, I put my belt on(have to because my pants are too big) it went to the next notch without me pushing! ROCK ON!! But it bunched my pants to much I went ahead and put it back where I had it so my pants wouldn't look AS bunchy. And a coworker noticed when I walked in. She was like...wow, you need some smaller pants! :)
AND, that same coworker just walked in with an AMAZING rose arangement for....little ol me! from my honey! It's BEAUTIFUL! What a sweety! (and no, today is not the only day I get roses from my honey buns, but this is definately an over the top arrangement!) :) The whole office already smells like roses! :) mmmmmm :)
Anyway, have a great day everyone! This blog is kinda random, but I gotta get back to work so I can't work on it anymore!

Gazelle???
Ok, since my last post I DID go to the gym! Wow, big step for Christy. But then I tried to go yesterday and it was PACKED! So I was bummed out because I don't want to lose the progress even though I'm not running. Collin and I have talked about getting a trainer for my bike so I don't have to worry about a place to go biking when we can't go together. But we have to order it. So...don't have it. Sooooo....Collin went out and bought me a gazelle. Haha, I have NEVER thought of these things highly, but you can get them pretty cheap. So I thought...ok, lets try it so I don't have to keep missing workouts. Well, that was last night, and this morning I woke up sore. So...I guess they work :) It's good for when I don't want the impact on my legs from running but still need a good leg workout. Plus it works your arms as well. All in all, a good purchase for now.
Now I'll brag on my hubby a bit.
I can honestly say that since I've been married(almost 4 yrs), I have not gone a day without him telling me how great I look. I am not exaggerating. And there have only been a few days where I have only heard it once or twice(they days he's been out of town and we only get to talk once or twice). Seriously, it's a wonder I don't have a big head from all his wonderful complements.
So, having said that, it has still been fun hearing all these wonderful things since I've been losing weight and toning up. Today I was wearing shorts and getting the laundry together, and he was like.....WOAH!! Look at your legs!!! Do you see the line from your muscle in them!??! haha, it is fun, what can I say.
I am so thankful I have a husband who loves me and thinks I am extremely beautiful no matter what my size! He's the best!

Uh Oh
So, I ran 2.7 miles Monday night! I was so excited and so proud! And it felt sooo good, except my legs were hurting pretty bad :( Boo, so I haven't run since. I'm really missing the good feeling I get after running. It doesn't help that I'm having troubles with BOTH jobs that I have. Oh well...life goes on right? I'm in prayer about it, and today has gone better so far. I know the Lord is with me giving me peace. What a GREAT Father we have in heaven!!
I hope to at least go biking today. I need the workout without the impact on my legs. But I HATE going to the gym with a passion!! I have a bike, but we are on call this week, so I'd have to go alone, away from the apt, and I'm not a fan of that. We'll see what happens.
I've lost 14 lbs now! Exciting! I bought some new jeans following Misses Smarty Pants rules. They look pretty great. (msp.com is great for people like me who have a hard time finding clothes that look great on me!) Thanks to my mother in law for my subscription! It was actually a christmas present I selected from our gift swap with Collin's family. So she wasn't like...you need help...here you go :) I was like...oh, I need help, this would be great! I'd highly recomend it to anyone who feels like me! Or anyone who feels like their wardrob is out of date and out of control! Look at me...giving her some free advertising!
ANYWAY, my sweet old family dog, skittles is not doing so well :( She has had arthritis for a long time now, but it seems to be getting worse. She also just got pink eye this past week! Didn't know dogs got pink eye! Mom said she looks pretty misrable. So we are hoping and praying she gets better or at least goes peacefully :( Such a sad thought! She's been a GREAT dog!
Hope everyone has had a good week! And IT'S ALMOST FRIDAY!!! Has everyone elses week flown by like ours?!?! WOW!

Way to go TANK!!
For those who do not know(like you care) Tank Daniel's a Harding Alum played in the SUPER BOWL with the Giants! It is only his second season in the NFL and he has a superbowl ring! Wow! He must be floating on air! Congrats to him and his family! I didn't watch the superbowl and haven't since....way back in the day when the cowboys were in it over and over again. But I do wish I could have seen him play a little. I heard he got to play a good bit!
Anyway, went running Sat and ran 2.6, so I'm moving up! But my legs are hurting after that. Boooo! My legs were a little sore the next morning, so I guess I did good at pushing myself, just hope I didn't push too hard. I plan on running again tonight. I'll probably stay on 28 min for another week because...MAN...it's tough! After two miles I am just thinking.....can I be done now?? :) But I can't wait until I can run 3 miles regularly. I'm very excited for that!
We had a GREAT weekend! I hope Zane and Cole don't think we are too boring! They had a lot of fun with the Bison Daze activities, and we got to hang out a good bit at night with them. We went to the Ingrim Hill concert with them Friday night. It was interesting for sure. Good band, but not my style at all. And that's ok, I can still appreciate the talent. The lead singer was a GREAT people person. He had the audience laughing in between songs, and that really helped. The people who opened for them were very lacking in that area. But there music was good, just not a lot of stage presence and keeping the audience going.
Oh, but the drummer and bassist of that group were pretty fun. The drummer broke TWO sticks in the first minute of the show! It was pretty funny, and he had all these funny facial expressions going on.
Also, the lead singer from ingrim hill broke a guitar string in the first song. Then traded guitars, and then got the first one back after they restrung it, and broke it again!
We actually left early from their perfomance so I don't know if anything else exciting happened.
That's about all that happened in my weekend! Hope everyone has a great week!
